Set to offer a low-maintenance lifestyle in a well-equipped apartment complex close to everything, the Royal Australian Air Force Association (RAAFA)’s Cirrus Apartments development in Bull Creek is nearing completion.
The development is situated in the Air Force Memorial Estate, also owned by RAAFA, which is one of the largest retirement living and aged care providers in Western Australia.
Having commenced construction in February, the six-storey modern complex will consist of a range of two and three-bedroom apartments, future-proofed with wider doorways and showers equipped for better accessibility.
Speaking to West Real Estate, Cirrus Apartments Leasing Associate Margaret D’Arcy said the apartments would allow residents to enjoy life without the hassles of home and garden maintenance.
“They are built on the existing Air Force Memorial Estate that was established in 1973 and is set on 11 hectares of prime land with landscaped gardens, beautiful parklands and a picturesque lake amongst shady gum trees,” she said.
There are many onsite amenities, facilities and services available in the estate, including a private residents’ lounge and a clubhouse on the ground floor of Cirrus.
“Residents will be able to meet and mingle with other residents from the estate in the new purpose-built community clubhouse that includes a cafe, restaurant, sports bar, bowling club and function rooms,” Ms D’Arcy said.
In addition to this, a gymnasium, hairdressing salon, library, medical rooms, an indoor swimming pool and tennis court mean leisure and necessities are catered for.
With the development walking distance to Bull Creek train station, three stops from Perth station, there are many conveniences and amenities close by for peace of mind.
“It is within close proximity to Fiona Stanley and St John of God hospitals,” Ms D’Arcy said.
“It’s close to Kwinana Freeway and Leach Highway, nearby Bull Creek Shopping Centre and an easy drive to Garden City Shopping Centre.”
RAAFA CEO John Murray said residents would be able to maximise their lifestyle opportunities through the community environment of the apartment complex.
“RAAFA is focused on providing an inclusive, safe and connected community that enables people to continue to live healthy, active and purposeful lives without compromising on space or comfort,” he said.
“It’s about offering retirees or people moving towards retirement better options to lead the lifestyle they choose.
“There has been an increase in enquiries over the past few weeks, and completion of the apartments is only a matter of months away.
“To date we haven’t done any external marketing, and already we have deposits on over 50 per cent. A number of people have already sold their family homes – some on the first home open – and are all geared up to move in during September.”
Ms D’Arcy said a display unit would be available for viewing from September.
“We have leased 30 of the 57 apartments off the plan and have a range of apartments available with leases starting at an entry contribution of $490,000,” she said.
According to RAAFA, three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments on the sixth floor are priced at $870,000.
