Sheridan Smith has celebrated her birthday a little differently this year, by cradling her newborn son in her arms.
The Cilla actress – who has just turned 39 – shared an adorable snap with her first child, who she welcomed with her fiancé Jamie Horn back in May, to mark her special day.
Sheridan has also appeared to let slip her son’s name was Billy, after she mentioned him by name during a Radio 2 interview, according to one fan who was listening in to the show.

The sweet snap was a close up shot of the back of her son’s head as she appeared to nuzzle his scent.
Sheridan wrote in the caption: “Best birthday present I could’ve asked for!”
Her followers were delighted to see a glimpse of the tot, with many wondering in the comments what Sheridan and Jamie had decided to name their first born.
When the actress made the announcement of her son’s birth she simply wrote alongside a picture of her holding his hand and didn’t share his name: “Our little man has arrived! We are both completely overwhelmed with love.”
But when one commenter asked what his name was, another fan responded: “Billy.”
Another who had been listening into Zoe Ball’s radio show Sheridan appeared on, confidently added: “I heard you on Radio 2 with Zoe this morning and you could feel the love for little Billy. Happy birthday xx.”

Following their son’s birth Sheridan took to social media to thank her fans for all the kind messages she’s received following the birth announcement.
The Gavin & Stacey actress wrote on Twitter: “I’d just like to say thank you so much! We have been so touched by all your lovely messages about the birth of our son.
“I’ve finally gotten round to reading all of them and am bowled over by everyone’s kindness. It means the world. Huge love to you all from the 3 of us!”
Sheridan announced that she had welcomed her first child with fiancé Jamie, 30, on Saturday, 9 May.
The 39 year old, who previously revealed how scared she was of giving birth, shared a photo of her son gripping her finger as she gushed over her little bundle of joy.
Celebrity friends were quick to comment as Fearne Cotton immediately responded: “Congratulations lovely,” with several black heart emojis and a red kissing emoji.
Pal Catherine Tyldesley wrote: “Oh darling!!!!! Huge congratulations!! Enjoy every second momma,” with two red heart emojis.
