Us Weekly reported on June 10 that, according to a source, Demi Lovato and her boyfriend of just a few months, Max Ehrich, have “been talking about getting engaged.” The former soap star has even reportedly selected a “very sizable” engagement ring for the singer-actress. “Demi has been aware and in on the fact that Max wants to propose and is so excited,” said the source, adding that the “Sorry Not Sorry” chart-topper’s family “really likes” her beau. “He’ll likely propose within the next couple of months, but when quarantine is over,” continued the insider. “They are really excited about their relationship and enjoying living together during quarantine and seeing where things go. They are very positive influences on each beyond just both being sober.”

In other imminent-engagement news… Us Weekly reported on June 10 that, according to a source, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton hope to tie the knot as soon as the coronavirus pandemic has come to an end. “COVID-19 has turned their world upside down, as it has with so many families,” said the source. “Gwen knows she is blessed and wants to have the wedding as soon as social distancing guidelines are lifted.” In late 2019, there were reports that the No Doubt frontwoman, who’s Roman Catholic, hoped to have her first marriage (to Gavin Rossdale) annulled so that the church would recognize her second marriage (to the country crooner). However, the pandemic “changed Gwen’s feelings about getting the annulment and getting married,” said the Us Weekly insider, noting that although she was previously “committed to getting the annulment, no matter how long it took,” that’s no longer the case. “Gwen wants to have a ceremony and reception with their family and friends. She didn’t wait this long to get married with family watching on Zoom,” said the source. “It has made her realize that waiting for the annulment at this point is just futile because it could take years for the church tribunal to issue the decision.”

On June 10, People magazine broke the news that, according to a source, although “they initially seemed to be friends,” things “seem to have turned romantic” between Jared Leto and longtime pal Valery Kaufman, who’ve been dating “off and on now for a few years” and “seem to spend more time together lately.” The 48-year-old actor and the 26-year-old model “would meet up with groups of people and all hangout” and “didn’t go on solo dates” until their relationship took a turn somewhere along the line. Now, things are getting serious: “Valery even hung out with Jared’s mom earlier this year,” said the source.
People magazine reported on June 6 that Jordana Brewster and her husband of 13 years, film producer Andrew Form, “quietly separated” earlier this year. “They have the utmost respect for each other,” said a source, adding that the split is “amicable” and that the duo is “committed to lovingly [co-parenting] their two children as a team.”
The Sun reported on June 4 that, according to a source, things are still “tough” between Kim Kardashian West and husband Kanye West amid the coronavirus pandemic “because they never normally spend this much time together” — but the mother of four “doesn’t want a divorce.” Explained the source, “She considers her marriage to Kanye and their family together a huge success — she’s the only sister who is married and thinks of herself and Kanye as a power couple. The last thing she wants is a divorce — especially because the public backlash after her second divorce [from Kris Humphries] was unbearable. What I think will happen is they’ll spend time apart in different houses — but not divorce.”
People magazine reported on June 10 that — despite previous reports to the contrary — Scott Disick and Sofia Richie “don’t plan on getting back together.” According to a source, the duo are still “in touch,” but the 21-year-old model “seems OK with them being apart” in the wake of their recent breakup. The father of three, meanwhile, is “doing well” and spending “a lot of time with his kids.” As for Kourtney Kardashian, she “continues to be supportive” of her former partner of nearly a decade and is “doing what she can to help him.”
Us Weekly reported on June 5 that, according to a source, Sienna Miller “can’t wait to make” her fiancé, Lucas Zwirner, her husband and is “looking forward” to tying the knot. The 38-year-old actress “loves that Lucas is youthful and fun,” while the 29-year-old book editor “loves how family-oriented Sienna is.”
On the June 8 episode of “The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons Ever,” Peter Weber said that he and Kelley Flanagan are “really excited for the future” and considering a move to New York City after the coronavirus pandemic has come to an end. He went on to say that they’re “doing good” and are “extremely happy” following their time on “The Bachelor.” Said the pilot, “I remember going [on the show], and I wanted that love story more than anything. I can honestly say it worked out in the end. … It feels so good to be able to say that, and I’m just very hopeful for the future. … I am very, very happy with [Kelley].” Peter’s mother, Barbara, also appeared on the special, gushing of her son’s relationship with the pretty lawyer, “It’s a dream come true. I love her so much. We get along so great. [She’s] like the daughter that I’ve always wanted.”
TMZ reported on June 10 that “Happy Days” star Anson Williams filed to divorce his wife of more than three decades (for the second time in a year) in Los Angeles on June 5. He first filed for divorce in September 2019 but then asked to have his divorce petition dismissed the following month.
During an interview with “Entertainment Tonight” that popped up online on June 5, “When Calls the Heart” actor Daniel Lissing revealed that he secretly married his longtime love, Nadia Lissing, in California earlier this year. (The duo first sparked rumors that they’d quietly wed when Nadia changed her last name to Lissing on her social media profiles in April.) “It was a pretty fast and easy decision to make. When you’ve met your ‘one,’ you just want to start your married life together as soon as possible,” the actor said of foregoing their original plans to have a big wedding in Bali in favor of a “very small and sweet service” with just two pals who served as witnesses. “We kept it all very simple,” he said, adding that it was their “favorite moment ever.” The duo plan to have a bigger wedding for family and friends in Bali in May or June of 2021. “We’re married now and we’re looking forward to everything ahead of us,” said Daniel. “We’re saving all our personal touches and extravagant decorations for our big family wedding next year. Wedding planner and all. … It’ll be an awesome wedding, but very different to the first one just for us.”
“Jurassic World” actor Justice Smith took to Instagram on June 5 to publicly reveal his romance with “Queen Sugar” star Nicholas Ashe. In a slideshow of photos from a recent Black Lives Matter rally in New Orleans, Justice included some sweet shots of himself and Nic “to show some #blackboyjoy #blacklove #blackqueerlove” to his followers. “You’ve been my rock and guiding light through all of this and I love you so much,” he added to his beau.
Although 23-year-old British model Saffron Vadher started posting videos featuring 32-year-old Bachelor Nation star Derek Peth on TikTok in late March (see her first post of him here), fans didn’t catch on to the fact that they’re an item — and apparently in quarantine together — until early June. Derek previously competed for JoJo Fletcher’s heart on season 12 of “The Bachelorette” in 2016. Two years later, he got engaged to Taylor Nolan on season 4 of “Bachelor in Paradise.” He then romanced both Demi Burnett and Tayshia Adams on the sixth season of the popular spinoff in 2019.
During a June 3 interview with Us Weekly, Jill Zarin said that her late husband, Bobby Zarin, “probably would love” her boyfriend of two years, Gary Brody. “They would have been drinking tequila all night long,” she added, noting that the two men actually met “a long time ago” because they ran “in the same circles” before Bobby’s 2018 death.
Us Weekly reported on June 10 that, according to a source, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill “love each other very much and are in this for life.” Said the source of the longtime duo, who tied the knot nearly 24 years ago after a courtship of less than a year, “They have no secrets between them whatsoever and are proud to be soulmates and best friends. To have come this far makes them both so grateful.” The insider went on to say that the country music power couple is “in a good place — better than they’ve ever been.” Continued the source, who added that Faith is “so proud” of her husband for “stepping up to the plate and saving his family” by overcoming his issues with alcohol, “They’ve come full circle. They’d marry each other all over again.” But it hasn’t always been easy for the pair: “Tim and Faith hadn’t been together that long when they got married, so they still had a lot to learn about each other,” pointed out a second source.
During an interview with Univision’s “El Break de las 7” that popped up online on June 4, Antonio Banderas opened up about the current state of his relationship with ex-wife Melanie Griffith following their 2015 divorce after nearly two decades of marriage: “I think we are both reluctant to bury 20 years of marriage,” he said. “We are human beings — we make mistakes, and that is the human condition. You have to leave the egos aside and not want to prove that you are right or find who’s guilty of what — because it may be both or neither of you. There is a moment when things are over and you have to accept it. The life I had with Melanie was beautiful. We had 20 wonderful years during which we gave our best and lived wonderful moments that I will not forget. We had a wonderful daughter [Stella] that we both love, and that is the end result of our relationship — the most beautiful thing we have ever done together. And even though we are separated legally, she is still my family. When I go to Los Angeles, I visit her. And just yesterday we were talking on the phone. Everything happens naturally.”
During an interview with Us Weekly that hit the Internet on June 6, Saweetie said that quarantine hasn’t affected her relationship with Quavo: “Before quarantine we spent a lot of time with each other, so it’s not really that different,” she dished. “Fortunately for us, we’re both workaholics, so because he’s focused on the third Migos album and I’m focused on my next project, it’s kind of like business as usual and we kind of just brought our work home.”
Us Weekly reported on June 5 that Ian Ziering is moving on following his messy breakup from estranged wife Erin Ludwig: He reportedly joined Raya, an uber-exclusive dating app for the rich and famous.
