Listen up, Upper East Siders…
Just a month after the world learned that Blake Lively (aka Serena van der Woodsen) wore sweatpants under a body-con dress in a wardrobe malfunction that none of us noticed the first time we watched Gossip Girl, another error has been spotted.
And just like last time, we were informed of the fashion faux pas thanks to a now viral TikTok video.
‘Someone messed up,’ the user captioned a clip of Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) and Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) arriving arm in arm to a party in the TV show.

As our focus naturally is on Blair and ‘Lonely Boy’ in the scene, we failed to pay much attention to the extras… one of whom, on closer inspection, is missing a shoe.
There she is, in plain sight for all to see, wearing just one heel.
Verifying this account – through watching the third episode of the fifth season entitled the Jewel of Denial ourselves – we can confirm the wardrobe malfunction did happen:

As Blair and Dan walk through a bustling event, while the budding writer tries to get Blair to talk about her pregnancy, the camera zooms in to reveal the naked foot.
Our re-watching of Gossip Girl comes in lieu of a revival of the show, which was originally slated to start this summer but has now been postponed due to production halting in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Ahead of the pause, some important announcements about the reboot were announced, including the new intake of New York City elite who will bring the show into the 2020s, taking over the reigns from Blake Lively, Meester, Badgley and more.
