Hit show Gossip Girl featured drama, thrills, and everything in between. Following a group of socialite New Yorkers, each season was filled with drama that had us all invested in each character.

What we loved most about the show were the characters. Each character brought something to the table and became a memorable part of the show in one way or another. It was their personality and charisma, now we wonder if their zodiacs match their personalities. Let’s look at each character’s zodiac.

12 Dorota – Virgo

Despite her unstable and drama-filled bosses, Dorota has managed to be loyal and devoted to the Waldorfs, acting as a sort of aunt for Blair. We see her kindness and willingness to always help Blair as her true Virgo nature.

Add in the fact that she comes off as cold to those she doesn’t see as a family makes her an embodiment of a Virgo. Dorota is a fan-favorite because she’s true to herself and she’s one of the most relatable.

11 Lily Van Der Woodsen – Libra

Lily Van Der Woodsen went through some interesting character development throughout her time in the show. Starting off as a typical socialite, caring more about her appearances and reputation, she grew into a caring mother and a more likable character.

As a Libra, Lily has a hard time being alone, marrying man after man, to combat her loneliness. Like a true Libra, she also cares more about her public image and will do anything to protect it, even if it means lying about her son being in rehab.

10 Rufus Humphrey – Pisces

Rufus is the definition of a “Cool Dad”. As a former rockstar, he’s as laidback, easygoing, and extremely creative. He goes from music to art and always prefers to live an honest and modest life to living in riches like his former flame.

As a Pisces, Rufus is compassionate and loving, always wanting to have a good time, but also a total homebody. As we saw in the show Rufus was almost always either at home or work, rarely leaving the house. Add in the fact most Pisces get easily bored with relationships, it explains why he stopped chasing Lily after the chemistry died out.

9 Georgina Sparks – Scorpio

If there was a true villain in Gossip Girl, it’s Georgina Sparks. Backstabbing just about every character on the show and blackmailing Serena causing her real emotional turmoil. As a Scorpio, Georgina is really resourceful, doing anything she wants and getting away with due to her uncanny ability to have dirt on people.

She’s also unpredictable and highly emotional. She embodies chaos, turning New York’s elite’s life upside down despite never having any riches for herself. As a true Scorpio, Georgina can be freakishly dedicated to a goal, which in this case is ruining lives.

8 Eric Van Der Woodsen – Capricorn

Eric is a man wise beyond his years, sometimes we forget he’s Serena’s little brother. He’s mature enough to be unconcerned what people think of him and he’s true to himself. Despite his suicide attempt, Eric is a pretty stable-minded character often acting like the big brother despite being one of the youngest in the show.

We didn’t see much of him throughout but with his stand-up attitude, he’s a total Capricorn. He cares for his friends and family, defending them despite who he’s going up against.

7 Jenny Humphrey – Aries

There’s something about younger siblings acting older than they really are, and that includes Jenny Humphrey. She’s ambitious and she has teenage angst you’d be intimidated by if she wasn’t such a young-looking kid.

What can be seen as rebellious is really her just trying to break out of her kid phase and trying to make a name for herself. She’s impatient, independent and she hates being told what to do. All signs that she’s definitely an Aries.

6 Vanessa Abrams – Aquarius

Vanessa seemed to come out of nowhere and also disappeared when we were least expecting it. Despite her short time on the show, she is memorable not because of the awkward threesome but because of her inability to fit in with the rest of the cast.

Like an Aquarius, she doesn’t want to fit into the norm, and she has no problem calling out her friends for being sucked into something they’re not, as we saw her do to Dan. She’s also very passionate and emotional but rarely shows it, like any Aquarius.

5 Nate Archibald – Gemini

Nate is one of the more interesting characters due to his back and forth character arc and his constant change of allegiances. When we first meet Nate, he’s a sensitive, heartbroken boy whos too afraid to stand up to his dad but as the show goes along, we see a more assertive side to him.

He’s soft and sensitive, a good friend to the ones he loves, but is also cold and distant when he feels a certain way. He can’t keep a secret to save his life and he’s constantly fighting himself, He’s a true Gemini.

4 Chuck Bass – Taurus

Chuck Bass had one the best character arcs in the show, starting off as an entitled brat and maturing into a caring and loving man, regretful of his past self and ready to become a better man. Like a true Taurus, Chuck prefers the finer things in life, only ever wearing expensive suits and the prettiest girls around his arm.

Add in the fact he’s extremely stubborn and a reliable friend, there isn’t a better sign to describe the youngest Bass.

3 Blair Waldorf – Sagittarius

Blair is well-known for being Queen Bee. Unlike her bestie Serena, who could care less about being in charge, Blair is at her best when she’s in control and things are being done her way. She can be a caring person with a big heart when she’s not busy being condescending and spoiled by her long list of lovers and friends.

She constantly struggles to define who she is, despite her confidence in herself and her uncanny charm. We see it with her power struggle with Serena and her reluctance to end up with Chuck because she would be risking her independence, something Sagittarius’ value highly.

2 Dan Humphrey – Cancer

Dan Humphrey aka Gossip Girl went from being one of the most loved to one of the most hated characters in the span of the show. He went from being shy and conservative creative writer with a sarcastic tongue to a narcissistic snake using his friend’s darkest secrets to publish his own book.

He sort of redeemed himself in the end, but he made it hard for others to trust him. What he did do well as he was a passionate and patient lover, marrying Serena despite their complicated history. A true Cancer.

1 Serena Van Der Woodsen – Leo

Last, we have the girl that the show revolved around. Serena’s flawless charisma and natural social ability bring everyone around her, even when she doesn’t want the attention. She’s ambitious, fierce, and even though she pouts about wanting to be left alone, she can’t go more than five minutes without demanding attention.

She’s a Leo through and through, her signature golden mane, her natural leadership skills, and her ambitions to be the best.
