Celebrities sing “Imagine”
“Wonder Woman” star Gal Gadot gets by with a little help from her friends. “This virus has affected the entire world. Everyone,” she said while in self-isolation in an Instagram video on Wednesday. “Doesn’t matter who you are, where you’re from. We’re all this together.” She said she was inspired by a man in Italy who was playing John Lennon’s “Imagine,” and ended up leading a celebrity sing-along featuring Kristen Wiig, Lynda Carter, Jimmy Fallon, Sia, Will Ferrell, Sarah Silverman, James Marsden, Norah Jones, Amy Adams and Maya Rudolph, all from their respective homes. “And the world will be as one,” Gadot sang at the end.
JoJo remixes “Leave (Get Out)”
Speaking of celebrities inspired musically by coronavirus, JoJo has delivered a new version of her 2004 hit “Leave (Get Out),” titled “Chill (Stay In).” “I never thought corona could be such a nasty b-tch, but now that she’s here, boy, all I want is for you to use common sense,” the 29-year-old singer performed on TikTok. “Stay in right now—do it for humanity… Tell me why you’re acting so confused when the CDC laid it out for you. Come on, I know you’re not dumb to go behind my back and hit the bar—shows how immature you really are. Keep exposure to a minimum.” NOTE: Video contains explicit lyrics not suitable for younger audiences.
