Nadine Coyle reveals former Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl reached out to her – OK! magazine

Posing in a stunning photoshoot for OK! magazine, Nadine Coyle has opened up on how her former Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl recently emailed her, ending their long-running feud.

Speaking about her relationship with her former bandmates; Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts and Sarah Harding, Nadine, 34, said: “It’s been seven years since the last reunion tour and it feels like seven years!

“Cheryl emailed me recently and I bumped into Kimberley [Walsh] a few weeks ago as well, which was lovely. I haven’t seen Sarah [Harding] or Nicola in a long time, but everything remains very cordial.

“We’re not best mates, it’s just the way it’s always been. I’m very close to a lot of people from my time in the band, like our hair and make-up people and the dancers, but you gravitate towards the people that you have stuff in common with.”

While Nadine insists that the ladies are all on good terms, she says a reunion of the band would “take a lot of work.”

The mother-of-one said: “It’s always been really fun and we’ve always had a really good time but there would have to be a lot of organising to get us all back together. It would take a lot of work.”

Nadine and Cheryl publicly fell out back in 2013 when Girls Aloud split.

Irish singer Nadine made it clear that she didn’t want the band to end as she said: “You should know by now I had no part in any of this split business.

“I couldn’t stop them. I had the best time & want to keep going Xxxx.”

However, Cheryl hit back at Nadine’s comments as she told Attitude magazine: “She was the one who wanted to make a solo record. Which is why we took the hiatus.

“She wants to come out and say we broke the band up? No! She shouldn’t tell porkie pies.

“Okay, so do you want us to tell the truth? She wasn’t going to make another Girls Aloud record until she got a solo deal. I feel she held us to ransom and then made her solo record deal.”

Elsewhere in her exclusive chat with OK!, Nadine gushed over being a mum to her daughter Anaíya, who is now six years old.

Nadine, who starred on I’m A Celeb at the end of last year, revealed that her anxiety spiked after she welcomed Anaíya with her now ex, Jason Bell.

She said: “I definitely found that my anxiety went through the roof after having Anaíya. There is no time to switch off. Even when I’m working, I’m worrying about whether I’m working too much. I think working mums always give themselves a hard time because you want to be there to do every breakfast, lunch, dinner and school pick-up.”
