Gemma Collins buys 28 rolls of toilet paper over Coronavirus fears: ‘Operation COVID-19 is in full force’ – OK! magazine

Gemma Collins has bought 28 rolls of toilet paper in preparation for Coronavirus to hit her household.

The 39 year old took to her Instagram Stories to tell her 1.6 million followers that she’s implemented “operation COVID-19” – a plan to stock up on home essentials in case she comes down with the sickness that’s currently sweeping the nation.

Panning the camera onto one of her staff members, who had placed medical protective gloves on the car seat and could be seen cleaning her hands with hand sanitiser, the reality star told her fans: “I’m actually getting a bit worried myself.”

Gemma, whose net worth was recently revealed, explained: “I didn’t want to get caught up in it all… We are off to get some food shopping.

“We’re taking no risks. And I think the message I’m trying to get across here is everyone starts being sensible, doing what the government is saying… the gloves, the gel…

“So we’re off to the supermarket to stock and yeah, operation Covid-19 is in full force.”

The next clip she shared showed the interior of a Marks & Spencer’s shop, where she was surrounded by several staff members as she said: “I’m now on shopping trolly number two,” before asking: “How may toilet rolls have I got?”

One staff member proceeded to count the giant hoard of toilet roll before answering: “Seven [packs].”

Gemma, who recently vowed to end trophy hunting, then repeated the answer as she said: “We’ve got seven [packs] of toilet roll.”

Rolling her trollies over to her car with some help, she praised the staff on how incredible they were at the supermarket, before adding: “They felt the panic in me.”

She later shared a guide on how to wash hands “the GC style” with a hilarious diagram depicting the different stages of it.

Gemma, who put it on her Instagram feed, titled the spoof photo: “Wash you hands along to Gemma Collins”. [sic]

The first stage, according to the photo, is to say: “Nah, nah I ain’t doing it,” before moving on to “I don’t need money” and “I’ve got money” and ending on “IM CLAUSTROPHOBIC!!!”
