Reader question: When will you start listing the offering for Easter meals? I need to know of restaurants that are open later in the afternoon, as I actually have to work on Easter.

Answer: Easter is April 12, a little more than a month away, and I haven’t made a list.

Turns out I’m a little late.

When I called over to the Red Lion Hotel Paper Valley, one of the big Easter dining spots every year, I found out that some of the most popular brunch times were already sold out.

It has a big Easter buffet in its ballroom starting at 9:30 a.m. and the last seating is 1:30 p.m. Reservations: 920733-8000, ext. 1529. The price per adult is $23.95, and it has graduated prices for children based on age.

Other restaurant owners and managers can email me (mwallenfang@postcrescent.com) with their Easter dining plans and I’ll run the list next Tuesday.

Restaurants should include serving hours, the type of service offered (buffet, family style or ordered off a menu) and a phone number for reservations. If it’s a buffet, please list prices for adults and children. I’ll need information by the end of the day Friday.
