Lucy Mecklenburgh hits out at ‘speculation’ she has given birth after ‘cryptic’ Instagram upload – OK! magazine

Lucy Mecklenburgh has hit out at false reports after “sparking speculation” she may have given birth with a “cryptic” Instagram post.

The 28 year old is currently expecting her first child with fiancé Ryan Thomas and has recently gone past her due by date.

Former The Only Way Is Essex star Lucy shared a new gorgeous image of herself posing with her bump, but may have misled her fans to think she has now welcomed a son.

Posting to her 1.6million Instagram followers, brunette beauty Lucy cradles her large bump in a tight khaki dress, smiling as she looks down at her stomach.

Underneath the image is the text: “U have been evicted…”, which sparked speculation that the tot has been born.

But, after confusing fans, Lucy quickly returned to Instagram to write: “How have a teased a baby announcement!? [sic]

She added: “I’m so over false Clickbait headlines!!!!!”

Lucy also took to her fitness account, Results With Bump, to speak about how she wants to “evict” the baby.

She wrote: “40 weeks ‘I carried a watermelon…’ LITERALLY. At this point I think we are all saying ‘you have been evicted, please leave the big mumma house’.

“Particularly frustrating when everyone has been telling you how ‘big’ you are, how much your ‘bump has dropped’, how you will ‘100% be early’ and ‘because you were premature your baby definitely will be too’.

“At 40 weeks, your placenta continues to provide baby with antibodies up until they’re born and baby’s eyes are open when they’re awake and closed when they’re asleep.

“If baby is causing you discomfort with kicks to the ribs, don’t be afraid to give them a nudge…it won’t hurt them but it could ease some of the pain for you. Leaning back in chairs or a cold compress to the rib area can also ease some of the discomfort on the rib cage.

“As hard as it is at this stage because you’re so excited to meet baby, embrace these last moments of rest before baby is here and use the time to cram in any last minute prep (fill that freezer)!! You’re doing an amazing job, Mumma, nearly there,” she continued.
