Dozens of new women accuse fashion exec Peter Nygard of sexual abuse – New York Post

Dozens of new women have come forward to accuse millionaire fashion executive Peter Nygard of rape and sexual abuse after a scathing federal lawsuit last week charged him with drugging and assaulting young girls, according to the attorneys behind the suit.

“We have received information from over 100 witnesses, including dozens of victims, who have come forward with additional evidence relating to alleged rape and sexual abuse,” lawyers for the plaintiffs in the class action lawsuit claimed on Tuesday.

“The brave women who have stepped forward thus far made the choice to hold Nygard responsible for his actions, regardless of his attempts to intimidate them into silence,” said the joint statement from attorneys Greg Gutzler and Lisa Haba.

The lawsuit filed Thursday in Manhattan federal court accused Nygard of luring at least 10 disadvantaged teens to his Bahamian mansion with the promise of fame and fortune — then raping them and forcing them to engage in depraved fetishes in so-called “pamper parties.”

While Nygard has previously been accused of sexual misconduct and rape, this complaint alleges he managed to dodge punishment by “resorting to violence, intimidation, bribery, and payoffs” to silence his alleged victims, the suit states.

Nygard, 77, has denied the allegations.
