What were you doing 20 years ago? If you’re old enough to remember Blockbuster, chances are that you were there checking these movies out. Or maybe you even caught them in the theater. Either way, the first films of our millennium have been out for two decades now. In honor of these classic movies’ 20th birthdays, it’s time to turn back the clock and pop these Y2K films in the VCR/DVD player for an anniversary viewing (just kidding — they’re all on Amazon).

Some of these films feel like they could have come out yesterday, like the coming-of-age drama Almost Famous, or the sweet and hilarious rom-com Miss Congeniality.
