No surprise here, people are offended by Eminem’s surprise 2020 album, “Music To Be Murdered By.”
But not the ones you’d expect. Ariana Grande’s die-hard fans are steaming mad over lyrics they say make light of the Manchester Arena bombing. The 2017 terror attack that killed 23 people happened during one of the “thank u, next” singer’s concerts.
Eminem’s new album, which dropped Friday, includes the track “Unaccommodating,” which contains the lyrics: “But I’m contemplating yelling ‘bombs away’ on the game/Like I’m outside of an Ariana Grande concert waiting.”
The 47-year-old raps the line against a backdrop of an explosion sound effect. The track also addresses a feud with fellow rapper Machine Gun Kelly.
Fans quickly got wind of the song and declared it “disgusting,” saying it made the deaths of Grande’s fans into a “punchline.” Addressing the rapper, one fan wrote, “Maybe try and have a little respect, and don’t use a terrorist attack to gain clout.”
(TW) Eminem really said in his new song “unaccommodating” the lyrics “bombs away like I’m at an ariana grande concert” and proceeded after with gun shots/explosions mocking manchester.. i am disgusted how did he or his team think this was okay? he’s trash pic.twitter.com/Ra8G4SPeNN

“I’m contemplating yelling bombs away on the game like I’m outside an Ariana Grande concert.”
Eminem literally just used a horrific terrorist attack that killed 22 innocent adults/children for a punchline in a song.

Grande herself hasn’t yet commented on the lyric, and Eminem hasn’t responded to the critiques of it.
