An emotional Nicole Kidman arrived for a pre-Golden Globes party having just learned that her Sydney home is on fire.
We’re told Kidman was in tears on the way into the Gold Meets Golden event at Virginia Robinson Gardens in Beverly Hills. The 52-year-old actress — who arrived late for the party and is a longtime supporter of the organization — learned of the news on her way to the event.
“I’m distracted right now with everything happening in Australia,” she told press on the way into the party. She declined to discuss other matters. She later smiled for selfies inside, but was clearly upset at the devastating news.
Australia is currently being ravaged by wildfires.
