The former England footballer – who was partnered with professional partner Nadiya Bychkova – appeared in the bottom two with BBC sport presenter Mike Bushell and his partner Katya Jones.
Both couples performed their routines again, David and Nadiya performed their jive to Such a Night by Michael Bublé and Mike and Katya performed their salsa to Jump On It to The Sugar Hill Gang in a bid to impress the judges and remain in the competition.
The judges were agreed on saving Mike and Katya, resulting in David being sent home from the competition.
