Shopko Optical has now identified its new sites in the Fox Cities and given tentative opening dates.
The Neenah shop was the first to move. It is open at 1154 Westowne Drive.
Three other optical shops remain open in portions of the vacant Shopko stores or nearby, and will move to strip mall sites over the next two months.
•Menasha’s Shopko Optical will move to 1490 Oneida Street, at Midway Road, on Sept. 23.
•Appleton’s Shopko Optical will move Oct. 21 across the street to 1033 W. Northland Ave, Suite B.
•Kimberly’s Shopko Optical will move Oct. 21 to 3525 E. Calumet St, Suite 1400, in Appleton, a strip mall west of Walmart.
Shopko went into bankruptcy and closed the last of its department stores stores in June, but the Shopko Optical shops were sold separately and remain in business.
