H&M, the Fox River Mall’s largest non-anchor store, moved up its opening.
It will now open September 26, about a month earlier than expected.
The store holds its grand opening that day from noon to 9 p.m.
H&M is a budget-conscious fashion store with clothing and accessories for men, women, teens and children. The Swedish company, founded in 1947, opened its first U.S. store in 2000.
The 20,000-square-foot store in the Grand Chute mall takes up a large portion of the mall’s central corridor between Target and the former Sears.
In its Facebook announcement, H&M said the first 100 shoppers in line for its opening here will get a chance to win up to $500 in a fashion pass valid that day.
The store also runs a garment recycling program, and those who bring in items before the noon opening that day will get a 15 percent off coupon and chance to win an H&M gift card valued up to $250.
