Today at the Disney+ Presentation at The D23 Expo, it was announced that Hilary Duff would be reprising her role as Lizzie McGuire in a Lizzie McGuire reboot series for the new streaming platform.

Also coming back into the fold is the creator of the original series, Terri Minsky.
The series will follow Lizzie as a slightly more self-assured 30-year-old.

In the series, Lizzie is “older, wiser, and has a bigger shoe budget.” She has her dream job as an apprentice to a decorator in New York City and her dream boyfriend, who’s a restauranteur in SoHo. But, even though she has her life more together now than she did in junior high, Lizzie’s still got some figuring out to do!
