The planned Star Wars hotel at Disney World Resort has a
name, and Disney is touting it as a “first-of-its-kind vacation
experience.”
The hotel will be called Star Wars: Galactic Star, Disney
revealed at its D23 Expo. Disney said the hotel will “invite guests to
embark on a two-night adventure aboard a glamorous starship” called the
Halcyon, where they will interact with characters and become a participant is
stories that unfold during their stay.
Also at D23, Disney said a Moana-themed attraction, Journey
of Water, is coming to its Epcot park. Guests will “interact with magical,
living water in a beautiful and inspiring setting,” Disney said.
And, the new Marvel superhero lands in the works at Disney
California Adventure and the Paris and Hong Kong parks will be called Avengers
Campus. “Guests who visit these campuses will become part of an
interconnected, global story spanning from California to Paris to Hong Kong, as
the Avengers recruit new extraordinary people to join them,” Disney said.
