But the Mercedes star, 34, admits the late nights could take a toll on him physically, especially as he felt run down at last month’s German Grand Prix.
He said: “In the past, I have gone into the break 100 per cent fit and I could party for multiple days and then go into recovery.
“But I am not in that place at the moment, I have got to focus and get my energy up.
“I had some illness and it wiped me out.
“So in this break, I am fully focused on real recovery, which is a bit of a change from my normal break.
