Heather Locklear will be moved to a long-term care facility, after fears of an overdose earlier this week.
The former Melrose Place star was recently released on bail after she was arrested for allegedly attacking a police officer.
TMZ later stated she had been hospitalised after officials were called for ‘someone overdosing at her California home’.
And the publication now states an insider told them the 56-year-old has voluntarily agreed to check in to the facility for treatment.
A source told the site that doctors at the hospital conducted ‘a battery of tests’ that have painted a clear picture of her problems.
They claim Heather has been ‘cooperative’ so far and agreed to enter the long-term facility off her own accord.
Her family are now ‘holding their breath’ and hoping she stays committed to rehabilitation.
The Dynasty star allegedly punched a police officer earlier this week, after they were called to check out a disturbance at her LA home.

She also allegedly kicked an emergency responder on her way into hospital.
Locklear was then taken to jail where she was held on $20,000 bail (£15,000) before posting it herself and walking out.
She faces charges of two counts of misdemeanor battery.
TMZ reports officials were then called back to the property on Monday, for ‘someone overdosing’.
Metro.co.uk has contacted Heather’s reps for a comment.
