Who’s celebrating their birthday today?
Angelina Jolie, 42
The mother of six is well-known for playing lead roles in the films Maleficent, Salt, Changeling, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, and Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
Daughter of actor, Tom Voight, she has been acting from a young age, although she did drop out of acting lessons at the age of 14 to persue a very different career- funeral directing.
She married Brad Pitt back in 2014 after meeting on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith, however she filed for divorce in 2016.
Jolie turns 43 today.
Russell Brand, 43
The British funnyman made his presenting debut as a journalist at MTV after being expelled from the Drama Centre London.
He’s well known for his wild roles in films such as Rock of Ages and Get Him To The Greek.
The Grays-born actor married Katy Perry back in 2010, but they divorced just over a year later.
Brand often speaks out about his previous sex, drug and alcohol addiction.
Bradley Walsh, 58
Nowadays we associate him with popular TV game show, The Chase, but Bradley Walsh has been on our screens for years.
He played Danny Baldwin on Coronation Street from 2004 and also portrayed the role of DS Ronnie Brooks in Law & Order: UK.
He was also a professional footballer back in the 70s.
Bradley has two children, a son with wife Donna Derby, and a daughter from a previous relationship.
What about these legends?
William Shakespeare’s birthday is normally celebrated on April 23, although the exact date is unknown.
The poet was baptised in Stratford-upon-Avon on April 26, 1564, leading to the assumption that he was born three days before.
He also passed away on April 23, 1616, making it a popular legend that he died on his birthday.
Legendary cosmologist Stephen Hawking, who passed away on March 14, 2018, was born in Oxford on January 8, 1942.
The Beatles’ John Lennon, who was shot dead in New York on December 8, 1980, at the age of 40, was born in Liverpool on October 9, 1940.
Elizabeth II, who’s been the Queen of England since 1952, was born in Mayfair, London, on April 21, 1926.
The Queen also has an “official birthday”, which she celebrates on the second Saturday in June.
WW2 Prime Minister Winston Churchill celebrated his birthday on November 30.
He was born in Bleinham Palace, Oxfordshire, in 1874 – and passed away on January 24, 1965.
