The Empire Strikes Back remains the best reviewed in the franchise.

With a “Tomatometer” score of 73%, Solo: A Star Wars Story has a fresh score, though it cannot be certified fresh until it hits 80 reviews and has a score of 75% or higher.
According to the site, movies “are Certified Fresh with a steady Tomatometer of 75% or higher after a set amount of reviews (80 for wide-release movies, 40 for limited-release movies, 20 for TV shows), including 5 reviews from Top Critics.”
As of time of publish, there were 77 reviews of the movie, with 56 labeled “fresh” and 21 classified as “rotten” for an average rating of 6.5/10.
Solo is not the highest-rated Star Wars movie on the website. That distinction belongs to 1980’s Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back, which boasts a 95% score.
