PSG WANT £100M ERIKSEN
We have been waiting for quite some time for big European clubs to notice that Christian Eriksen is really rather good, and the Daily Express claim that time is now, with PSG apparently prepared to pay £100m for the Dane this summer. That would represent rather a large profit on the £12.5m Tottenham spent on him five years ago.
Eriksen was named in the PFA Team of the Year and is one of only three Premier League players – with Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling – to reach double figures for Premier League goals and assists this season. At 26, he may well be thinking that he wants to win something a little more prestigious than the Eredivisie.
PSG want eriksen? If this is true then that spells trouble.

MAN UNITED WOULD SELL RASHFORD FOR £100M
The Daily Star (yes, we know) have an exclusive claim that ‘United bosses want to hand the England ace a bumper new deal to secure his long-term future at Old Trafford’, but that just sounds sensible when you consider that Marcus Rashford earns only £25,000 a week. Even trebling his wages would not take him close to United’s top earners.
But we cannot help thinking that they have buried the lead as they claim that ‘the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea and Paris St-Germain are all keeping close tabs’ (which frankly, we find hard to believe) and that United ‘would only consider selling him if a rival club met an asking price in excess of £100m’.
Elsewhere, the Daily Mail claim that ‘Jose Mourinho is ready to play Anthony Martial more as a central striker next season if the Frenchman stays’. Hmmm. Seems unlikely.
CHELSEA AND ARSENAL WANT BAILLY
We told you on Wednesday that Eric Bailly is fearing for his future at Manchester United and on Thursday the story moves on, with ESPN claiming that both Chelsea and Arsenal are ‘monitoring the situation’ with the Ivory Coast defender, who missed the club’s awards dinner on Tuesday night with a dental problem.
Love to know what Eric Bailly has done…

Certainly, he would be an excellent signing for Arsenal – who always need centre-halves – while Chelsea probably need some new faces as both David Luiz and Gary Cahill could exit this summer.
AND THE REST
Manchester City are weighing up a summer move for Bayer Leverkusen’s Jamaican forward Leon Bailey…West Brom are to approach Brentford boss Dean Smith and Leicester assistant Michael Appleton as they step up search for new manager…Chelsea want £10m for Dutch midfielder Marco van Ginkel, who has played just 11 minutes of Premier League football…Burnley are lining up a £6m move for Bristol City’s English left-back Joe Bryan.
