LIVERPOOL WANT TO SIGN DYBALA
Well it’s pretty clear what this morning’s biggest dose of questionable transfer rumoury is. The Sun quote ‘Italian media reports’ which claim that Liverpool want to sign Paulo Dybala, who is rated at £90m. You might be hearing more about this one later.
Now then. We’re absolutely convinced that Liverpool would like to sign Dybala; no convincing needed there. But quite whether Dybala fancies moving to Liverpool, Liverpool would be prepared to pay £90m or Real Madrid, Barcelona or Paris Saint-Germain would stand aside and let the move happen are more pertinent issues.
Let’s say it right now: If Liverpool sign Dybala for £90m this summer, we’ll give each of you a shiny penny.
RASHFORD UNHAPPY WITH MAN UNITED SITUATION
Hoo boy. The Daily Mirror have an exclusive on Tuesday morning, and it’s a biggie. David McDonnell writes that Marcus Rashford is growing increasingly disillusioned at his lack of Premier League minutes at Manchester United. Ten United players have played more minutes than him.
We are told that Rashford is particularly peeved at starting only five of United’s last 16 matches, and was angry at being given only eight minutes in the Manchester derby.
We have words from a source, too:
“Marcus was really unhappy with being left out for the derby.
“If Mourinho is still there next season, Marcus might not be, as he wants to start every game.”
Woof.
KENEDY INTERESTING PSG AND BAYERN
It’s been a great few days for on-loan Newcastle United player Kenedy. On Sunday he was named by Sarah Winterburn as one of her early winners. On Tuesday, Sky Sports believe that he is interesting some pretty big clubs.
Newcastle supporters understandably hope that their club can sign the Brazilian, but that looks increasingly unlikely. Bayern Munich have apparently told Chelsea to keep them updated, with Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben both out of contract this summer.
You’d think that whoever replaces Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge this summer makes it a matter of importance to make Kenedy feel loved and part of his first-team plans.
AND THE REST
West Brom are set to lose Salomon Rondon this summer (and presumably loads more players too)… Watford have beaten Arsenal and Spurs to sign Ben Wilmot from Stevenage… Javier Hernandez will look to leave West Ham this summer.
