10 movies to see this spring after ‘Ready Player One’
Back to Gallery
“Ready Player One,” Steven Spielberg’s pop-culture flashback disguised as a futuristic virtual reality adventure, is going to lock up all — well, most of — the screens starting Thursday.
But it’s just the beginning of a fun and varied spring movie season.
Funny women are out in force, for one thing, with three big movies starring Amy Schumer, Anna Faris and Melissa McCarthy set to hit theaters before the summer blockbuster season begins in earnest with “Solo: A Star Wars Story” on May 25. Also, there will be superheroes.
Click through the slideshow for 10 movies to enjoy with a tub of popcorn in the coming weeks.
