Jim Carrey, who’s trying out a second career as an artist, seems to have taken a not-so-subtle dig at the White House press secretary.
“This is the portrait of a so-called Christian whose only purpose in life is to lie for the wicked,” the 56-year-old actor captioned a Twitter photo of his drawing of an angry woman with dark hair and pointed eyebrows. “Monstrous!”
While Carrey didn’t identify his subject, many social media users immediately pointed out the resemblance to Sarah Huckabee Sanders, a member of the Trump administration that the actor has frequently bashed through his artwork.
The 2017 documentary “I Needed Color” revealed Carrey’s new creative outlet, which he said he uses to “heal a broken heart.”

“I think what makes someone an artist is they make models of their inner life,” he said in the video. “They make something come into physical being that is inspired by their emotions or their needs or what they feel the audience needs.”
Carrey’s Twitter account features dozens of pieces of his artwork, including Marco Rubio with his hands drenched in “the blood of innocent children” and “creep” Paul Ryan.
