Kim Kardashian Threatening To Take Kids Away From Kanye West?

Is Kim Kardashian threatening to take Kanye West’s kids away from him? That’s the latest claim coming from the tabloids. Gossip Cop looked into the story, however, and we can now bust it.

The questionable article can be found in Star, under the headline, “Kim To Kanye: You’ll Never See The Kids Again!” According to the gossip magazine, Kardashian is “fed up” with West being an “absentee parent,” so she’s “given him a scary ultimatum.” It’s specifically alleged the mom of three “told Kanye that if he doesn’t man up to his daddy duties, she’ll divorce him and make sure he never sees his children again.”

“Kim has her hands full with the [new] baby and was really counting on Kanye to be here, but he’s MIA as usual,” a so-called “friend” claims to the outlet, further contending, “She’s so fed up that she’s already met with lawyers.” The unnamed attorneys have supposedly “assured her she has a fighting chance of getting her way” in a court battle.

The purported “ace up her sleeve” is an alleged video of West acting erratically before his breakdown in 2016. “Kim knows a thing or two about leaking tapes, and this one is the most explosive of them all. It would be a powerful weapon to paint him as an unfit father,” a “tipster” allegedly “tattles” to the publication. One of these supposed “insiders” maintains Kardashian’s mom, Kris Jenner, is already in agreement with “completely cutting Kanye off from the kids.”

Although West is currently in Wyoming to work on new music, seemingly giving credence to this tale, there’s actually key information omitted from the story that disproves the contentions. For starters, the rapper isn’t the only one going out of town and leaving their kids behind. Less than a month ago, Kardashian took a child-free trip to Japan with her sisters. Then just last week, Kardashian went to Wyoming to spend time with West. That, too, was a kid-free getaway.

Clearly she has no problem with either of them being away from their offspring, who are left in the care of trusted family members and experienced nannies. After all, if West is an “absentee parent” due to the times he goes away, wouldn’t she be one as well for the times she travels away from their brood? It makes little sense to claim Kardashian is upset with West doing something she herself does. Of course, the “KUWTK” star’s recent decision to leave their young ones at home and go spend the weekend with West also serves to illustrate her commitment to maintaining their relationship, despite the suggestion here that they could be splitting.

And that ties into what is arguably the biggest detail left out of this article. Kardashian and West will be marking their fourth wedding anniversary this spring, and Star has spent the last four years wrongly claiming they’re on the brink of a breakup. In fact, since 2016 the tabloid has published three separate cover stories falsely announcing a $1 billion Kardashian-West divorce. None of this is mentioned in the magazine’s latest report, because it doesn’t want readers to realize it keeps churning out bogus split stories with angles that don’t pan out to be true. Fortunately, Gossip Cop has a long memory and easily accessible archives.

West is nothing short of excited about being a dad, even if does choose to go out of town. Kardashian has gushed about the performer as a father in interviews and on social media. Nothing has suddenly happened to make her threaten to take their kids away from him. A rep for the reality star denies this article is true, and a Kardashian confidante also confirms to Gossip Cop there’s “no truth” to these “ultimatum” claims.
