Reader question: Did Christine’s Fresh Market reopen in Neenah?

Answer: Yes. The small market and cafe at 636 S. Commercial St. reopened the third week of February and resumed its normal weekday hours. It’s closed on weekends.

Owner Christine Sturgis had shut down the business for the prior two months because of health and staffing issues.

Her daughter Gabrielle Crain returned to help and is now handling day-to-day operations.

“Things are working out really, really nicely,” Sturgis said. “I’m loving it again and am working side-by-side with my daughter, which is the best thing in the world.”

She’ll also sell her fresh salsas again this summer in Neenah’s farm market.

See Christine’s Fresh Market’s Facebook page for hours and specials.
