Former Potter Graham Potter is one of the names being banded about to become the new manager of Southampton.
The Mirror reports that the Saints will do away with Mauricio Pellegrino even if they survive and Potter, a former Saint himself and currently in Sweden with Ostersunds, together with Fulham’s Slavisa Jokanovic are two of the names prominent on their hit list.
Ilkay Gundogan is quoted in The Mirror as fearing for Manchester City’s Champions League hopes if they wrap up the Premier League title too early.
He seems to fear they may lose a little of their competitive edge once they’ve lifted the title.
