An earlier version of this story misstated the radio station number for The Buzz
Popular local talk radio host Lincoln Ware posted on Facebook Live that he was locked out of his studio and unable to do his broadcast on Tuesday.
Ware’s airtime began without him.
On the Facebook post, Ware said from his home studio he was unable to reach his general manager, but reached other radio officials who didn’t provide many details.
Officials with 101.5 The Buzz could not be reached immediately for comment.
In a town where talk radio dominates the daytime airwaves, Ware is one of the most prominent radio hosts. But he’s also the voice of Black Cincinnati on many issues.
For instance, just last month he championed Cincinnati Health Commissioner Melba Moore on the airwaves in the midst of power structure changes at the department and Cincinnati City Council took the extraordinary step of taking a vote of confidence in Moore.
The Enquirer will update this story.
