While it feels a bit ridiculous to share lists of movies right now, I think we can all agree that it’s OK to take a step away from the world for an hour to decompress. To help you do that, we’ve compiled some films to take your mind off of things, however briefly.
We’ve found 46 of our favorite movies that are currently part of the subscription for Amazon Prime members. Reminder: You can order tons of movies through Amazon Prime and pay for them. All the filns below (as of June 1) are available for free people with Prime memberships.

OK, on to the movies.
1. THE HUSTLE (New in June) — A charming remake of the classic DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS, the film shows Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson trying to scam an internet millionaire.
2. ROCKETMAN (New in June) — The Elton John biopic is as outlandish as the pop star.
3. THE GOLDFINCH (New in June) — While the plot can be a bit plodding, the adaptation of the Donna Tartt novel has some supremely gorgeous moments.
4. HOTEL ARTEMIS (New in June) — It’s a bit over-the-top and borrows aplenty from the JOHN WICK universe, but this assassin thriller has some great sequences.
5. MINORITY REPORT (New in June) — Steven Spielberg’s movie on police action holds up better than you might think, with a great performance from Tom Cruise.
6. ESCAPE FROM ALCATRAZ — Clint Eastwood grimaces beautifully through this prison escape flick.
7. RAMBO: LAST BLOOD — Wanna see Sylvester Stallone blow some stuff up? Of course you do.
8-10. GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO TRILOGY — The original Swedish trilogy may not have the vision of David Fincher’s English adaptation of the film, but Noomi Rapace is sensational in it.
11. A MOST WANTED MAN — Philip Seymour Hoffman and Rachel McAdams star in this espionage thriller.
12. BRITTANY RUNS A MARATHON — A charming, sweet film about a woman who can’t get her life together, so she takes to road running.
13. THE REPORT — The film is important, and has strong performances, for those who can be a bit patient with a somewhat slow-moving plot.
14. DOWNFALL — This look at Hitler’s final hours in his bunker is tense, gripping, and unforgettable.
15. THE FAREWELL — A stunning film which shows Awkwafina as a young woman who travels home to say goodbye to a family matriarch, who isn’t aware she is dying.
16. FRIENDS WITH KIDS — A biting and moving look at friendship, adulthood, and how things can get complicated as we mature (or don’t).
17. MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: FALLOUT — Other than FAST & FURIOUS franchise, I’m not sure there’s a better formula working today. Every movie is just as fun as the last.
18. THE SPY WHO DUMPED ME — A silly, wonderfully funny sendup of the spy thriller genre.
19. A SIMPLE FAVOR — Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick have a blast in this completely over the top comedy melodrama.
20. HONEY BOY — Shia LaBeouf wrote and stars in this incredibly intimate film, which centers around his difficult relationship with his father.
21. ONE CHILD NATION — A stirring documentary that examines the fallout and unintended consequences of China’s one-child policy.
22. LOGAN LUCKY — A hilarious romp of a heist film, with Adam Driver, Channing Tatum, and Daniel Craig having more fun than anyone should making a movie.
23. THE NEXT THREE DAYS — A tense genre thriller that showcases Russell Crowe as a man on the edge.
24. HOT SUMMER NIGHTS — Timothée Chalamet stars in this crime bildungsroman about a kid on Cape Cod who finds himself in the middle of a drug world.
25. THE LOST CITY OF Z — Charlie Hunnam and Robert Pattinson elevate this film about an English adventurer.
26. HOME AGAIN — A twist on the standard rom-com, with a typically great performance from Reese Witherspoon.
27. FIGHTING WITH MY FAMILY — A WWE movie with a big sense of humor and a bigger heart. Even non-fans of the sport will find things to love.
28. LATE NIGHT — While its message can be a bit on-the-nose, this film on a late night host struggling to deal with a changing audience has some winning moments.
29. GENERATION WEALTH — A strong documentary on the most grotesque members of our society.
30. LAST FLAG FLYING — A strong cast brings heart and warmth to this film about Vietnam vets who reunite to bury one of their sons.
31. MANCHESTER BY THE SEA — Casey Affleck is spellbinding in this drama which, I must tell you, will absolutely wreck you. Just leave you a shattered, crying husk.
32. SUSPIRIA — This modern adaptation of the classic horror film finds new scares and new moments that will pin you to your seat.
32. ZOMBIELAND — One of the great genre comedies ever, with my favorite cameo maybe ever. NOTE: Oddly, only the 4K HD version is free for Prime users, not the standard version.
33. APOCALYPTO — Mel Gibson directs this intense film about an indigenous warrior tribe.
34. CLUE — A comedy about a board game has no business being this smart, this well written, and this funny.
35. NOT ANOTHER TEEN MOVIE — It’s a parody film, sure. A parody film about a genre that hasn’t really been relevant in 15 years. But god the laughs still ring true.
36. AIR FORCE ONE — Harrison Ford is the president, and also kicking terrorist butt on a plane. What more do you need?
37. SUPER SIZE ME — This documentary opened up America’s to the dangers of fast food and its impact on obesity in America.
38. BRIDGET JONES’ DIARY — Renee Zellwegger is perfect in this charming romcom classic set in the UK.
39. LIGHT OF MY LIFE — Casey Affleck stars in a dystopian film that takes place in a world where a plague has wiped out most of the women on Earth.
40. THE BIG SICK — A hospital romantic comedy doesn’t *sound* too fun, but this film really is.
41. ROMAN HOLIDAY — Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn star in this classic, which is a classic for a reason.
42. MIDSOMMAR — Horror movies that take place in the daylight are, for whatever reason, all the more scary.
43. THE MAN FROM NOWHERE — A rip-roaring crime film out of Korea, which great action sequences.
44. TROOP ZERO — Allison Janney has a ton of fun about a group of girl scouts who can’t seem to do anything by the book.
45. GUAVA ISLAND — It’s basically a long Childish Gambino video, but it’s so beautiful throughout.
46. MISS SLOANE — Jessica Chastain is powerful in this film about a high-powered DC lobbyist.
