Humane Society of Summit County: Adoption fees have been reduced to $50 for adult dogs and $10 for adult cats during the conavirus emergency. View adoptable pets by going to https://www.summithumane.org/adopt. If you are interested in fostering a dog or cat, email [email protected]. The humane society is currently limiting intake strictly to those animals from Summit County that are sick or injured, or victims of abuse or neglect. Call humane officers at 330-405-0620.
One of a Kind Pet Clinic: The rescue no longer is offering its spay and neuter services and has canceled the vaccine clinic until further notice. http://www.oneofakindpets.com.

Roses Rescue: The rescue has canceled all meet-and-greet events until further notice. https://www.rosesrescue.net/.

Wayne County Humane Society: The shelter is open but the public is asked to refrain from visiting unless you have an approved adoption application. View adoptable animals at http://www.wchs.org/animals and complete an adoption application at http://www.wchs.org/animals/adopt-pet/adoption-application. Once your application has been approved, you will be contacted by staff to schedule an appointment. If it isn’t a match, you are not obligated to adopt. Applications are good for 90 days. If you find a stray cat or would like to surrender an animal, contact the shelter to set up an appointment.
