The club’s economic landscape altered significantly by the coronavirus pandemic and its impact on revenues, it is reported that everyone save for Lionel Messi, Marc-Andre Ter Stegen and Frenkie de Jong is up for sale at FC Barcelona.

This means that, much to the shock of Culers, Brazilian midfielder Arthur – who is wanted by Juventus and Inter Milan – could be headed for the exit door while at the same time, Antoine Griezmann, plying his trade in Catalonia for less than a full season, may also be offloaded prior to the 2020/2021 campaign if the papers are to be believed.

Ever since the turn of the decade, the 29-year-old has had his name linked to a part-exchange involving Neymar. With PSG hoping to “Frenchify” their squad, and prevent Griezmann’s fellow Russia 2018 winner Kylian Mbappe from joining Real Madrid, it had been suggested that all parties involved would be willing to entertain the prospect of such a deal.

This week, it has been the turn of some of the Premier League

Antoine Griezmann has on occasion had a difficult time adapting to life at FC Barcelona.

Yet according to Mundo Deportivo’s Miguel Rico, it has been decided backstage at the Camp Nou that Griezmann is “non-negotiable” and will stay at FC Barcelona.

According to those that have seen him in action since Barça returned to their Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper training center a fortnight ago, Griezmann is sharper than the period before all club activity was brought to a halt on March 13, and is determined to lift the Champions League in August.

Before that possibility, there are still 11 fixtures to contest in La Liga too. Spain’s top flight is tipped for resumption on June 12 or 19th, and though pushed out on to the left wing in such a forward line also containing Lionel Messi, Griezmann will also be buoyed by the return of Luis Suarez from injury.

MSG finishing 2019 as Europe’s leading trio, Barça’s $130mn capture has mustered a not-too-shoddy 14 goals in all competitions across 37 games and has provided four assists for his colleagues.

By finishing the current term on a strong footing, he can eradicate even the slightest of doubts regarding his effectiveness for coach Quique Setien and put to bed the rumors of a move away from FC Barcelona.
