A quick look at some re-openings and coming changes in retail and restaurants.
• Bergstrom Automotive will reopen its dealerships Monday statewide. “Sales and service are now in a new safer operation mode,” said president/ COO Tim Bergstrom. Service appointments can be booked at bergstromauto.com. Car repair and transportation-related businesses are considered essential under state guidelines.
• Goodwill NCW reopened its donation doors from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. daily with no-contact procedures in place.
• More restaurants are either starting or resuming curbside carryout this week and next week. They include Carmella’s (Tuesday), the new Little Siam in downtown Neenah (Monday), Houdini’s Escape Gastropub, Jimmy John’s and Good Company. Starbucks will start reopening some of its drive-ups nationwide next week but didn’t give specific locations. See a regularly updated list of restaurants offering takeout and/or delivery at postcrescent.com/buzz.
• Costco said customers will be required to wear masks starting Monday. Exceptions are children under age 2 and those customers who cannot wear a mask due to a medical condition. Also starting Monday, special hours for seniors age 60 and older and those with disabilities will change to 9 to 10 a.m. Monday through Friday.
• Macy’s will reopen some stores around the country this next week in states that have restrictions lifted. It did not identify specific locations. The company told USA Today it plans to open all stores by mid-June with state and local approval.
