It’s the first of the month, the day rent, mortgage payments, car payments and many other bills are due.

I’d like to hear how you’re managing during this difficult time.

If you’re unemployed because of the coronavirus outbreak, have you gotten an unemployment check that will help you with some or all of those bills?

If you can’t meet all your obligations because your work dried up, are creditors and landlords willing to work with you?

On Friday, Gov. Tony Evers issued an emergency order that suspended evictions and foreclosures for 60 days, but you’re still on the hook for those payments. “This order does not in any way relieve a person’s obligation to pay their rent or mortgages,” it reads.

If you’re willing to share your personal story, please let me know if I may publish your name.
