STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — With movie theaters closed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, new films are finding their way to streaming services instead.

Universal Pictures has released several could-be blockbuster movies for rent online, allowing people to watch them without leaving their house.

Here are some movies to check out on-demand:

The Hunt, thriller/action, rated R, runtime is 1 hour and 55 minutes: “Twelve strangers wake up in a clearing. They don’t know where they are — or how they got there. In the shadow of a dark internet conspiracy theory, ruthless elitists gather at a remote location to hunt humans for sport.”

The Invisible Man, mystery/sci-fi, rated R, runtime is 2 hours and 5 minutes: “After staging his own suicide, a crazed scientist uses his power to become invisible to stalk and terrorize his ex-girlfriend. When the police refuse to believe her story, she decides to take matters into her own hands and fight back.”

Emma, drama/melodrama, rated PG, runtime is 2 hours and 12 minutes.

Trolls World Tour, originally scheduled to debut in theaters on April 17, will be released on-demand on April 10. The film is rated PG with a runtime of 1 hour and 35 minutes.
