Liverpool duo Virgil van Dijk and Alisson Becker are on the verge of signing new long-term deals to stay at the club. Defender Van Dijk and goalkeeper Alisson both arrived at Anfield for world-record fees in their respective positions in 2018 and have played a huge part in the Reds’ progression in recent seasons. John Terry has urged former club Chelsea to sign Jadon Sancho, saying he would be a ‘great addition’ to Frank Lampard’s side this summer. Former Manchester City starlet Sancho has been brilliant for Borussia Dortmund since the beginning of the 2018/19 season and has been heavily linked with a move back to England. Manchester United’s pursuit of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has suffered a blow with Inter Milan entering the race for the striker. The Arsenal man is stalling on a new deal at the Emirates Stadium as they look set to miss out on Champions League football for a fourth successive season. £50million-rated Aubameyang was linked with a move to Old Trafford but Inter could actually be his next destination as the Italian giants look to strengthen their front line.
