Actress Sophia Myles reveals her father has died of coronavirus – Express
The Underworld star took to Twitter on Saturday night to share the heartbreaking news. Ms Myles had tweeted a photograph of herself visiting dad Peter. She wrote: “RIP Peter Myles.
“My dear Dad died only a few hours ago.
“It was the Corona Virus that finally took him.”
Ms Myles had revealed in August 2018 that Mr Myles was suffering from Parkinson’s.
Hours before announcing the death, she wrote: “Yesterday I went on a journey to see my father.
“This is the harsh reality of the Coronavirus.”
Ms Myles revealed she had taken a CBS News crew with her on Friday.
She said the footage would be shown on Monday to show the reality of coronavirus.
In an update to her followers, she explained: “Just a warning to everyone, my father now is in a locked ward with a bunch of people who have the virus and they’re all dying.

Vets have reportedly been asked to help provide ventilators to the NHS by Chief Veterinary Officer Christine Middlemiss.
London’s Northwick Park Hospital was forced to go into “critical condition” over a shortage of beds on Friday.
The NHS website advises patients thought to be at risk will be contacted from Monday.
The Government advice is for those with a fever and a new, continuous cough to self-isolate.

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government will work with local councils, businesses and the voluntary sector to provide medicines and groceries to those at risk.

Several TV channels have suspended production on programmes as a result of the outbreak.
