Keith Lemon ignores government advice as he’s spotted in pub after showing coronavirus symptoms – OK! magazine
Keith Lemon has been spotted in the pub enjoying a pint despite showing symptoms of having coronavirus.
The 46 year old decided to go against new regulations outlined by the Government advising the public to practice social distancing and self-isolate.
Keith, who recently designed and created a t-shirt in tribute to his late friend Caroline Flack after she was found dead, looked happy and relaxed as he gulped down a beer at the pub, laughed with friends and hugged a pal on the way out.
Earlier this week, Celebrity Juice sent their audience home and shutdown the set after the comedian, whose real name is Leigh Francis, said he was running a high temperature and had a cough before filming his usual show.
At the time, doctors, who checked all his symptoms, gave him the go-ahead to continue filming, but had to cut it short after the Government outlined their new guidance on what to do throughout the pandemic – which includes avoiding all public places, like pubs.
The Sun reported that the comedian had a temperature of 38C and was coughing. After the show stopped, Keith reportedly told his fans: “I probably won’t give you a high five in case I give you what I’ve got.
“I’m just a bit dizzy, as I say, achey and got a little cough but not worth talking about. I’m just really tired. I keep getting hot and cold.”
However, an audience member later hit out at the TV star, saying they didn’t think it was appropriate for him to be on set while having symptoms associated with the coronavirus.
They told the publication: “Keith casually announced he had a fever of 38 degrees but soldiered on.
“He had close contact with some members of the audience and very close contact with his colleagues.
“We were appalled he came in to film with a very large studio audience, some of whom have severe health problems such as myself, and some were elderly.”

Keith’s This Morning star pal Holly Willoughby had to flee the set after hearing about the development.
The 39 year old This Morning presenter, who recently gushed over her pal Nicole Appleton’s new baby, allegedly felt it was best to stay away from the set amid the Coronavirus outbreak currently sweeping the globe.
