Wall Street tried to bounce back on Thursday from dramatic losses in the previous session, as policymakers around the world pulled out all the stops to try and stave off a deep and lasting coronavirus-driven recession. .N
At 2:04 p.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 1.47% at 20,191.05. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 1.35% at 2,430.5 and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 3.41% at 7,228.484.
