The Fox River Mall closed its doors Tuesday evening because of the coronavirus outbreak, as previously reported on postcrescent.com. Anchor stores Macy’s, JCPenney and Scheels are also closed.

Target remains open, as do some freestanding stores and those restaurants offering carry-out.

Businesses that have exterior doors or are in separate buildings on the mall property can still operate and set their own hours despite the main mall closure.

See foxrivermall.com, click on “see all stores and restaurants” and click on individual store or restaurant names to get opening hours or closing information.

Target, for example, remains open and only reduced its hours slightly, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Target now reserves the first hour of every Wednesday for seniors and those who have compromised immune systems.

The store gets deliveries daily, but expect to see essentials like toilet paper and hand wipes to sell out in early in the morning.

Other businesses that still list open hours, as of Wednesday, included freestanding restaurants offering carry-out or delivery services only. Outlot restaurants include IHOP, Cheddars, Noodles, P.F. Chang’s and TGI Friday’s.
