The best golf movies and shows you can stream at home today – Golf.com

Now is the perfect time to catch up and rewatch your favorite golf movies and shows. We’ve gone through and listed the best ones by streaming service to help you fill your time while self-quarantining. Check out the below list, grab some popcorn, and start binging!

The Short Game

A personal favorite of mine, this documentary follows a few kids along their quest to win the 2012 U.S. Kids Golf World Championship. It’s really cute, but also shows how determined and hardworking these kids really are. Since this documentary is from 2013, its cool to see where these kids are today once you finish the film.

Tee Shot: Ariya Jutanugarn

This movie show’s Ariya journey from a junior golfer to the number-one ranked golfer in the world. If you love a heartfelt sports drama, definitely check this one out.

Seven Days in Utopia

A classic drama filled with golf and love. Admittedly, this isn’t at the top of my must-watch list, but this quarantine could last a while, so don’t count it out! Even my non-golfer roommate thought this one looked pretty good.

Tiger Woods: Achieving Greatness

If you’re a true Tiger fan, you probably won’t learn anything new from this documentary. However, if you’re looking to get your fix, this is a great place to see a montage of some of Tiger’s greatest moments.

Seve: The Movie

This isn’t included with prime, but you can still watch for free with ads or rent the movie for just $0.99. This movie shows Seve Ballesteros’ life and adversity he faced as a young child before his days as one of the best golfers of his generation.

Loopers: The Caddie’s Long Walk

This Bill Murray movie explores the relationship between golfers and caddies showing the game from a unique perspective. Rent on Amazon for $3.99.

Happy Gilmore

A golf classic and perfect if you’re in the mood for a good laugh. This isn’t included with prime, but if you have a Cinemax subscription, you can watch it there!

Tin Cup

A classic rom-com with a golf twist. You can watch this on Amazon if you have a CBS All Access subscription, or you can rent it for just $2.99.

Shockingly, Hulu doesn’t have any golf movies or documentaries! If you want another good sports drama, they do have I, Tonya, which I’d personally say is worth a watch.

The Greatest Game Ever Played

This is in my top three favorite movies of all time, and I’d recommend this to anyone and everyone. I mean, Shia LeBeouf playing Francis Ouimet, what could be better?!

HBO also doesn’t have any golf specific movies or documentaries, but I wanted to include here regardless. If you have this platform, definitely check out their sports section for a plethora of inspiring films and series like Diego Maradona or Being Serena. Binge-worthy shows like Entourage and Curb Your Enthusiasm also have a few golf scenes sprinkled throughout their seasons.
