Get ready, Upper East Siders. Gossip Girl is officially thanks to the new reboot of the HBO series and has some new faces ready to handle the original GG characters and show how it’s done. Just when you thought Blair, Serena, Chuck, Nate and none of our favourite characters would take over, these new teens are ready for their big close. So get your fingers ready to tell Gossip Girl and the rest of the world who is heading to the biggest city in the world.
Here are the cast and characters from HBO Max’s Gossip Girl reboot.
Thomas Doherty
The descendants and bad boys of Legacy are making their way to the East Side. His character has yet to be announced, but it looks like he will fit in perfectly with this outfit.
Tavi Gavinson
Tavi’s character remains a complete mystery, but he is no stranger to the small screen. She recently appeared in Scream Queens and is primarily known for her theatrical roles in The Crucible and The Cherry Orchard.
Adam Chanler-Barat
Adam is best known for his roles as Neno on Broadway in the original Henry in Next to Normal, Boy in Peter and Starcatcher, and Amino. He has made short appearances at Veep and Elementary. Her character has yet to be revealed.
Zion Moreno
While that character remains a mystery, Zión certainly isn’t. She is a model and recently ventured into acting for Melanie Martínez playing the role of Flair in K-12.
Emily Eileen Lind
Emily was the first person chosen in the Gossip Girl reboot. While her character remains a great mystery, she is no stranger to the small screen. She is known for playing the role of young Amanda Clarke in Revenge and most recently starred in Code Black as Ariel.
Whitney Peak
Whitney joins Emily in the cast as a mysterious character. She recently was on Zabair’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and will soon star in Apple TV’s Home Before Dark, which will soon appear in the series.
Ellie Brown
Ellie joins the cast as an unannounced character. Pretty Little Liars – Perfectionist fans will remember him as Dylan Walker, which means he would fit into the world of Gossip Girl.
Jonathan Fernandez
The Lethal Weapon star joins the reboot in an unknown role. She is also known for her performances in Girls, UCB Comedy Originals, and Adam Ruins Everything.
Jason drip
The Broadway star is making her scripted television debut on Gossip Girl, however, she has yet to be told. Played Totals on Peter Pan Live! And then recently she played Che in the Avita revival at Lincoln Center.
