Lucy Mecklenburgh reflects on taking baby son Roman home from hospital in adorable snap with Ryan Thomas – OK! magazine
Lucy Mecklenburgh has shared a sweet photo of herself and fiancé Ryan Thomas taking their baby son home from the hospital after his arrival last week.
The former TOWIE star, 28, announced the arrival of her first child with Ryan last week, revealing his name as Roman Ravello Thomas.
The stunning star has now shared a candid photo of them leaving the hospital, saying she will “cherish” the moment forever.
The gorgeous black and white photo shows a smiling Lucy holding hands with former Coronation Street star Ryan as he holds Roman’s car seat.
Lucy gushed alongside the image: “This was one of the most surreal moments of my life that I will cherish forever. When we left hospital to head home with our new baby.
“On our way home I’ve never seen Ryan drive so slowly & sensibly in my life. I sat in the back watching my beautiful boy.
She added: “One of the most important things to buy for your baby is a safe & reputable car seat. It was so important to us. After lots of research & recommendations from mummy friends I decided to get the Maxi-Cosi Pebble Pro i-Size infant carrier.
“Roman is one of over 50 million babies brought home in a @maxicosi_eu car seat! I chose it because of its top level safety standards. As the baby grows you can remove the inlay so I’m hoping he’ll be in it for many months to come because I never want him to grow.”
It comes after Lucy took to social media to share a video of herself on a day out with baby Roman, before she was left experiencing “mum life” when he pooed on her arm.
