Charlotte Church surprises fans as she announces she’s pregnant with her third child in tweet – OK! magazine
Singer Charlotte Church has announced she’s pregnant with her third child.
The 34 year old Welsh singer-songwriter made the announcement in a low-key fashion as she replied to a tweet from a fan asking why she missed the Valley Aid concert held for Welsh flood victims over the weekend, where she was due to perform.
The fan wrote: “@charlottechurch You missed a great night…” [sic]

Breaking her baby news to fans, Charlotte then revealed she was taking precautions amid the coronavirus as she replied: “Gutted to have missed it. I’m preggers so I’m airing on the side of caution in terms of virus. It looks like it was a great success. X” [sic]
Surprised fans then congratulated her and agreed with her decision to steer clear from the event.
One wrote: “Congratulations and yes probably wise to limit where you go! (Not that I’m an expert)” [sic]
Another added: “Congratulations, hope all works out well.” [sic]
And a third expressed their surprise at the lack of announcement from the event organisers as they said: “I appreciate you explaining. I’m surprised they didn’t make an announcement but I guess it’s none of our business! There’d have been celebratory and supportive applause” [sic]

Charlotte is already mum to 12 year old Ruby and 10 year old Dexter from her previous relationship with Gavin Henson, who she split from in 2010.
The baby will be Charlotte’s first with her husband Jonathan Powell, who she married in a secret ceremony in Cardiff in October 2017.
Charlotte and Jonathan began dating in late 2010, shortly after her split from rugby player Gavin.
On their relationship, Charlotte previously told The Telegraph: “Well, I’m really happy with my dude. He’s lush, he’s so smart, and he really looks after me.”
The happy news comes after Charlotte suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage in June 2017, shortly before her secret wedding.
Breaking the devastating news in a two-part tweet at the time, Charlotte wrote: “1 of 2 Charlotte and Jonny are very sad to announce that they lost their baby. Now is a time for grieving and being together as a family.” [sic]
She added: “2 of 2 We kindly ask everyone to respect that peace.” [sic]
