I’ll be back, says Arnold Schwarzenegger — as soon as he’s done quarantining for the coronavirus.
The “Terminator” star and California governator told fans on social media that he’s doing fine and having fun in isolation — thanks to his two adorable miniature horses, Whiskey and Lulu.
He posted a video to Twitter on Sunday with a message to Americans, especially those age 65 or older. In the clip, viewed over 6 million times so far, he promotes advice from current California Gov. Gavin Newsom, who has urged senior residents and people with chronic medical conditions — those most threatened by the deadly coronavirus — to stay home.
“See, the important thing is that you stay at home,” Schwarzenegger, 72, says while feeding carrots to his horses. “Because there is a curfew now. No one is allowed out, especially someone who is, like, 72 years old. After you’re 65, you’re not allowed out of the house anymore in California.”
Newsom also called for restaurants, bars and nightclubs to close across the state.
“We don’t go out. We don’t go to restaurants. We don’t do anything like that anymore here,” Schwarzenegger continues as he nuzzles his indoor equine allies.
“Look at that beautiful smile she has,” he says of Lulu. “We have a good time, eating here together. So much more fun than going outside.”
The actor from Austria also posted a hand-washing tutorial on Sunday, helped along by his Yorkshire terrier Cherry.
“Cherry, watch this,” he says while showing the curious pup how he scrubs his hands with soap and water — including the backs of his hands and in between his fingers.
“Everyone should wash their hands at least 20 seconds, and do it as many times as possible,” he continues, looking directly into the camera.
His hygienic how-to has been viewed over 600,000 times on Twitter.
“I wash my hands a minimum of 50 times a day. Anything that I do, I wash my hands over and over and over again,” says Schwarzenegger, before he lifts Cherry and plants a few kisses on her ponytailed puppy head.

Schwarzenegger is one of several celebrities who are promoting hand-washing on social media, such as “I Will Survive” singer Gloria Gaynor, Food Network host Alton Brown and, somewhat egregiously, Scott Disick, who hopes to turn a profit on the coronavirus panic. His aptly titled brand Talentless is selling $49 T-shirts and $129 hoodies designed with the bold-type message “PLEASE WASH YOUR HANDS.”
