Lucy Mecklenburgh and Ryan Thomas enjoy lunch with son Roman one week after welcoming baby boy – OK! magazine

Lucy Mecklenburgh has enjoyed lunch with her newborn son as she celebrates one week since giving birth.

The 28 year old welcomed her first child with fiancé Ryan Thomas , 35, last Saturday.

Former The Only Way Is Essex star Lucy shared a gorgeous post on Thursday night to announce she had welcomed her bundle of joy, named Roman Ravello Thomas.

She has now shown off her newborn’s pram for the first time as she tucked into lunch with her child and, presumably, her hunky other half.

Posting to her 1.6million Instagram followers, the brunette beauty posted the snap from the trio’s lunch date at a branch of Cote Brasserie.

Enjoying a steak and salad while Ryan munched on his own tasty looking meal, Roman’s gorgeous blue pram can be seen at the end of the table.

The fitness fanatic wrote alongside the image: “Celebrating his 1 week birthday He was an angel..”

Lucy uploaded an image of herself and Ryan enjoying a dinner date together on Monday evening, writing: “Last date night (for a little while anyway!)”

However, she kept it secret from her fans that she had already welcomed their son.

Breaking the news to her followers that she had given birth, Lucy gave fans their first glimpse of Roman on Thursday night, sharing a black and white image of him adorably holding on to his mummy’s finger.

She simply wrote: “Roman Ravello Thomas” with blue love heart emojis either side of his moniker.

Celebrity friends were quick to congratulate the couple on the arrival of their bundle of joy as Stacey Solomon wrote: “Super mumma,” [sic] followed by a yellow heart emoji.

Sam Faiers said: “I thought you had gone a bit quiet. Huge congratulations on the birth of your beautiful baby boy lots of love. Xxxx”.

While Sam’s sister Billie commented: “Congratulations darling lots of love to you all at this very special time,” alongside a kissing emoji.

And pal Brooke Vincent said: “Mexx can’t wait to meet his new friend,” with a yellow heart emoji.

Although Roman was an “angel” during his trip out with his parents, Lucy has joked about the lack of sleep she has received since giving birth.

Posting to her Instagram Story, Lucy shared a gif of a character asking: “Sleep? What’s that?” early on Friday morning.

Roman is Lucy and Ryan’s first child together, but the former Coronation Street actor is also dad to 11 year old daughter Scarlet, who he shares with his ex-girlfriend and former soap co-star Tina O’Brien.
