Free Night at the Movies – TAPinto.net

UNION, NJ – The Friends of the Union Public Library will be hosting a free night at the movies on Thursday evening, March 5, beginning at 7:30 p.m.  in the Community room of the main library. 

Manny Vozos will have a viewing of his movie, Liberty Hall 360° Revolutionary Wedding. Manny’s movie was filmed at historic Liberty Hall in Union.  Witness a project 244 years in the making. Conceived and produced by Kean University students, with support of faculty, staff, alumni, and neighbors. The film was shot in the historic Liberty Hall mansion and invites audiences to attend the wedding of future Founding Father John Jay to socialite Sarah Livingston, the daughter of the first elected governor of New Jersey.

After  viewing  the movie, discussion with the cast and director will follow. After, all attendees are invited to join the members of the Friends at DAVA restaurant, 1020 Stuyvesant Avenue. The Friends of the Union Public Library will supply wine and encourage movie-goers to purchase some delicious Latin fusion food offered by DAVA.
