— The following students are members of the Alexander Hamilton Society at Ashland University:

Lilyanna Antonio of Greenwich is majoring in middle grades education. She is the daughter of Christy Tolliver. Antonio is a 2018 graduate of South Central High School.

Avaerie Fitzgerald of Lucas is majoring in digital media journalism. Fitzgerald is a 2017 graduate of Ashland High School.

Joshua Hlavaty of Jeromesvilley is majoring in political economy. Hlavaty is a 2018 graduate of North Central State College.

The Alexander Hamilton Society or (AHS) seeks to gather students and prominent members of foreign policy, national security, and international affairs community to foster debate and discussion and create a network of students and professionals to use to their advantages. AHS is an independent, non-partisan, not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting constructive debate on basic principles and contemporary issues in foreign, economic, and national security policy.

— The following Miami University students have been named to the president’s list for the first semester of the 2019-20 academic year: Kaelin Frazee of Ashland, Leah Watson of Ashland and Cassidy Hanner of Ontario.

— The followings students are members of Alpha Delta Pi at Ashland University:

Sydney Gilmore of Ashland is majoring in early childhood education. Gilmore is a 2016 graduate of Ashland High School.

Kaylee Reed of West Salem is majoring in nursing. Reed is a 2019 graduate of Northwestern High School.

Kelsey Smitley of Sullivan is majoring in nursing. Smitley is a 2017 graduate of Cloverleaf High School.

Destiny Whitmer of Ontario is majoring in biology. She is the daughter of John and Barbara Whitmer of Ontario. Whitmer is a 2018 graduate of Ontario High School.

The purpose of Alpha Delta Pi is to promote high levels of scholarship, service and sisterhood while living up to the ideals of their founders and developing strong personal character. Alpha Delta Pi’s activities include fund-raisers for their philanthropy, visits to the Ronald McDonald House in Cleveland, the annual Ron-A-Thon and Silent Auction, Total Membership Education Programs, participation in Alcohol Awareness programs, sisterhood retreats and various social gatherings. Membership in Alpha Delta Pi is open by invitation to female students who have a 2.8 high school GPA or a college GPA at or above Panhellenic average.
